Meet Steve Lebo – Project Superintendent

Steve grew up in Pennsylvania where he graduated from Boiling Springs H.S. in 1969.  In High School he was active in both football and wrestling, and worked weekends and summers for family owned plumbing firm.  He earned his Journeyman Plumber License at age 16.

In 1970 he enlisted in the USAF, completing basic training at Lackland AFB in Texas, and advanced training in Law Enforcement.  He served an overseas tour of duty in Turkey where he worked closely with the Turkish Air Force in “Special Weapons” security. Upon return, he was stationed at Fairchild AFB in Spokane WA where he met his wife Dora.  They were married one year later. Steve was honorably discharged in 1974, and he then attended Spokane Community College for 2 years.

In 1976 Steve returned to Boiling Springs, where he again worked for the family business. After a short stay, Steve and Dora headed back to Spokane, and a career with a contractor specializing in residential and commercial construction. Steve managed the commercial division for the next 15 years, until he to moved to Western Washington. His career continued to blossom working as a General Foreman for a large Mechanical Contractor.

In 2001 Steve joined DBC as a General Foreman on the University of Washington Surgical Pavilion project.  Recognizing his managerial and supervisory ability, he was soon promoted to Project Superintendent and is managing a number of larger, and more complex projects.

Steve is very involved with his family.  He and Dora have 2 sons and 2 daughters and 12 Grandchildren, ranging in age from a few weeks to 11 years.  He is also active in his church, and when he eventually retires would like to go on an extended church mission.  His long-term plans include developing his property in the North East corner of the State, and improving his golf game.

DBC is pleased to have Steve as part of our management team. He is a quality individual, with a great work ethic, always willing to put forth the extra effort to achieve a successful project.
