Cascadia Elementary School
DBC completed the mechanical portion of a new $13.8 million dollar Cascadia Elementary School located at 6175 Church Road in Ferndale Washington in August 2008. The school is owned by the Ferndale School District and the general contractor Ebenal General Construction.
The 60,000 square foot school designed by Rolluda Architects of Seattle will accomodate 500 students, and consist of four learning classroom clusters with shared common areas, a library, a gymnasium, a computer lab and an atrium.
The school is located in close proximity to the neighborhood, allowing for safe walking access to the school. The design also includes many green concepts with natural light incorporated in all learning spaces.
