Description
DBC has begun work on a 1.7 million dollar contract by Ebenal General Construction for the mechanical portion of a new $13.8 million dollar Cascadia Elementary School located at 6175 Church Road.
The 60,000 square foot school designed by Rolluda Architects of Seattle will accomodate 500 students. The buildings will consist of four learning classroom clusters with shared common areas, a library, a gymnasium, a computer lab and an atrium.
The school is located in close proximity to the neighborhood, allowing for safe walking access to the school. The design also includes many green concepts with natural light incorporated in all learning spaces.
Completion expected in August 2008
